ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel
Patricia Viel is a French-born architect. In 1987, she graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic and started collaborating with Antonio Citterio in 1986. In 2000, with architect Antonio Citterio she co- founded the architecture and interior design firm "Antonio Citterio and Partners " which focuses on integrating architecture into the urban context. As CEO, Patricia Viel is directly involved in architectural and interior design activities, as well as in the management of the Studio - which today has taken the name "ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Paticia Viel." The firm has a global scope developing complex projects and encompassing different intervention scales, in synergy with a qualified network of specialists. From 2005 to 2012, Patricia Viel was a member of the Board of Advisors of the National Institute of Architecture InArch, in Milan. In addition to her work within the firm, Patricia Viel participates in numerous talks and conferences in Italy and abroad. In 2021, ACPV produced "The Importance of Being an Architect," a documentary film conceived as a virtual dialogue and musical journey in four acts, investigating the responsibility of architects in building the society of tomorrow. The film has been screened in numerous international film festivals and on Sky Arte Italia.
